What was the purpose and what did it solve? Did it make you more of a man or woman or did you do something that should never be done which is letting problems in your area effect other people in public places? If your block is about that drama and you find yourself ducking bullets to get your kids off of the school bus, that is sad, but it's something you choose. I don't choose that life, I choose to live happy and enjoy everyday that God allows me to breath.
What makes you think that someone got dressed in their best clothes and spent their hard earned money to be stabbed or killed or a witness to a stabbing or a killing? See the perspective of this post is from a street/common sense approach. Your a gangster ok cool, but there is a such thing as a pedestrian, meaning someone who has nothing to do with the game they are neutral. In that same statement there are places where you shouldn't be because of the fact that others are there trying to enjoy themselves and your drama should never be a part of pedestrians enjoying themselves.
I am curious about the fascination of these want to be gangsters to just shoot up everything in site. Why do you feel inclined to attack events and people who have nothing to do with you making money or "believing you have control over your block!" I would like to take my kids to ride a ride without worrying about having to shield them from bullets. I would like my son in two or three years to make it home from a night of having fun at the club without having to worry he has been shot or killed.
I need yall to understand that just because you choose to live a "thug life" or do what you consider to be "keeping it 100" that doesn't mean that others have to live that life as well. Back in the days when people went to war even in ancient times they met in the middle, there wasn't a war on the blocks where kids from each kingdom played. You want to be a street king keep it on your street, you want to be a gangster respect your hood and protect your hood. When I say hood I mean your neighborhood, a place where families grow and children learn discipline to become something greater in life.
